Wuling town

Wuling town belongs to Tangyin County, Henan Province. It is located in the southeast of Tangyin County, 25 kilometers away from the county seat, close to Weihe River. It is located at the junction of Tangyin, Neihuang and xunxian counties. Tangtai railway passes through the town, with superior geographical location and convenient transportation. Merchants have gathered since ancient times.

General situation

Wuling town covers an area of 63.51 square kilometers (2017) and has a population of 47900 (2017). It has jurisdiction over 27 administrative villages. The area along Weihe River is mostly sand dunes and plains. Liuquanpo is located at the junction of Wagang Township in the west, and rengupo extends to the territory in the Northeast. The terrain is high in the middle and low around. The cultivated land of the town is 61000 mu, of which loess and Lianghe soil (plain) account for 46%, sandy soil 40%, and black clay and saline alkali soil (potwa) 14%. Because most of the territory is the old course of the Yellow River, the area of sandy soil and saline alkali is large, and it is easy to flood and drought. There is HuiFu temple in hantahe village. According to the old records, in 1644, Li Zicheng's rebel general Liu Fangliang captured Zhao fan King Zhu Changbo in HuiFu temple.
