Mimiao town

The original name of mimiao town was Shangzhuang township. In 2011, Shangzhuang withdrew the township and established mimiao town. Located in the southwest of Henan Province, mimiao town is located in the east of Ruzhou City, connecting Ziyun road street in the west, Jiaocun town in the East, Zhifang town in the south, Dayu town in the north, Ruhe alluvial plain in the south, gentle slope hills in the middle and Songji mountain area in the North. The dozen administrative villages in the middle are all anti Japanese guerrilla areas in the base area. There are militia organizations and people's political power in the whole town. The tragic deeds of Ma Ying, the only female martyr in Ruzhou, Shangshan, Shangxing, weidashan, songgudui, songlianxu, and 20 Eighth Route Army martyrs emerged.

Economics

Mimiao town is rich in products and has a good agricultural foundation. Now it has formed four production bases of high-quality wheat, high-yield corn, pollution-free vegetables and high-grade tobacco. With the rapid development of forest and fruit industry, animal husbandry plays an important role in large-scale agriculture. It is a pig production base and cattle raising demonstration town in Ruzhou city. There are many kinds of mineral resources with abundant reserves, which are easy to exploit. There are 46 proven species, mainly including raw coal, gold, bauxite, kaolin, granite, silica, Maifanshi, mineral water, etc. Among them, raw coal reserves are 200 million tons, gold reserves are 3.5 tons, kaolin reserves are 750000 tons, black granite is exported to Southeast Asia, mineral water is rich in a variety of trace elements.

Culture

Mimiao street, the seat of the town government, is the former capital of Chengxiu state of Zhou Dynasty in the Han Dynasty. Fengxue temple, a thousand year old ancient temple in the northwest corner of the town, is a national key cultural relic protection unit. In the north of the town, there are the remaining veins of Songji mountain system and a sea of ancient trees. It is a famous National Forest Park in Ruzhou. There are two medium-sized reservoirs in the East and mamiao in the west of the town. In the south, there is Ruhe alluvial plain. The town is surrounded by water on three sides and faces mountains on one side. The land is fertile, with luxuriant forests and abundant grain. It is one of the advanced towns for plain greening in Henan Province. In particular, the two major folk culture and art resources of "one culture and one martial arts" make the town famous at home and abroad. "Yiwen" is the hometown of opera. Mimiao town is the cradle of Henan opera, the second largest opera in Henan Province. In 1987, Henan Provincial Department of Culture named "Henan advanced culture center" and in 1998, Henan provincial government named "Henan Folk Art town". "Gongs and drums ring in every village, and big operas sing in every village", has become a major landscape in mimiao Town, the hometown of traditional opera. "Yiwu" is the hometown of martial arts. In 1991, mimiao town was named "the hometown of martial arts in Henan Province" by the Henan Provincial Sports Commission, and in 1993, it was named "the hometown of national martial arts" by the National Sports Commission. The town government is only 6 kilometers away from the center of Ruzhou City, and No.8 and No.10 buses lead to the town government. National Highway 207 passes through the western part of the rural area, Shanru line, Miguo line and houfan line of provincial highway 325 run through the town from east to west, and intersect with Daji line vertically and horizontally. Each administrative village in the town has realized the "village to village" cement road, and has formed a road network with trunk line kilometers as the skeleton, county and township roads as the vein, connecting the whole town, connecting the surrounding areas, combining trunk and branch, and extending in all directions.
