Jiangzuo town

Jiangzuo town is located in the east of Yichuan County, in the south of xiangziling, 24 kilometers east of Yichuan County, Henan Province. It is adjacent to Yanshi City in the north, Dengfeng City in the East, Ludian town in the west, and Banpo Township in the south. Zhenglu highway and zhengshaoluo Expressway run through the whole area from west to East, which is the east gate of Yichuan. The total area is 79.9 square kilometers, and the cultivated area is 62000 mu.

It has successively won the honorary titles of national advanced town of ecological civilization, provincial civilized town, provincial model town of land greening, municipal advanced town of centralized rural environment improvement, and municipal advanced town of safe construction.

Historical evolution

In the first year of Yuanfeng in the Western Han Dynasty, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty Liu Che was lucky to have passed Songshan Mountain and loved its beautiful mountains and rivers. Gu said that the officials said: "the scenery of Jiangzuo is just like this" because he was named Jiangzuo. In 1932, Yichuan County set up Jiangzuo District when it was founded, and changed to Jiangzuo Township in 1941. In 1948, Yichuan County democratic government set up Jiangzuo district. Jiangzuo people's commune was established in 1958. In 1975, Banpo and other 11 brigades were set up to establish Banpo people's commune. It was changed to Jiangzuo township at the end of 1983. In May 2009, the township was removed to build a town.
