Historical evolution

It was built in 1976 and renamed Tanggong road in 1983.

In 1997, it had jurisdiction over 17 neighborhood committees, including Zhongbei of glass factory, north section of Guanghua Road, Zhongnan of glass factory, east of glass factory, No.9 courtyard, southwest of glass factory, Dancheng Road, Jinbei, Xinjian, middle Tangyan Road, northwest of glass factory, Dingbei, cinema street, Guanghua, Jindong, Daonan road and north of glass factory.
