Beijing cartoon art museum, formerly known as Beijing cartoon world museum, has been renamed and relocated to building 12, yard 6, North Garden, Chaoyang District, Beijing. It belongs to Beijing Municipal Bureau of cultural relics and is a public institution owned by the whole people approved by Beijing municipal government. It started operation on November 11, 2011, with a total construction area of 3000 square meters.

Development history

Beijing cartoon art museum belongs to Beijing Municipal Bureau of cultural relics. It is a public institution owned by the whole people approved by Beijing municipal government. Beijing cartoon art museum is located in Sanjianfang animation International Industrial Park, Chaoyang District, Beijing. The museum started trial operation in November 2011, with a total construction area of 3000 square meters, including the exhibition area on the ground floor and the "freeze frame animation experience area" on the ground floor. Beijing Cartoon Art Museum has collected thousands of exhibits. As the only museum in Beijing with cartoon art as its theme and a window of Beijing's animation industry, Beijing cartoon art museum will become an important platform to reflect the development of Beijing's animation industry, display emerging animation works and promote animation image and derivative products. The establishment of the museum reflects the Beijing Municipal Government's great attention to the construction of people's spiritual civilization, and also reflects the great development and prosperity of Beijing's cultural and creative industries.

Visit information

1、 Opening hours: 9:00-17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday (closed at 16:00), and closed on Monday (except legal holidays).
