Dongming market town, belonging to Dongming County, Heze City, Shandong Province, is located in the middle of Dongming County, adjacent to Luquan town and Datun town in the East, Xiaojing town in the south, Liulou town and Shawo town in the west, and yuwo street in the north. The area is 113.97 square kilometers. In 2018, 66875 people registered residence.

In 1958, Dongmingji commune was established. In 1961, it was changed into Dongming district. In 1963, it was changed into Dongmingji commune. In December 1983, Dongming market town was established. In June 2020, Dongming market town has 34 administrative villages.
