Wendian town belongs to Yangxin County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province. It is located in the north end of the Yellow River Delta Development Zone. History of construction

In 1945, it was divided into six districts. At the end of 1949, it was renamed nine districts. In February 1956, Wendian township was changed to Wendian village, which got its name because the government was located in Wendian village. In April 1958, Wendian people's commune was established. In May 1964, Wendian district was set up. In 1970, it was renamed Wendian commune. In 1984, Wendian people's commune was abolished and Wendian town was established.

Wu zonglun, named Jueyuan, was born in Wujia village, Wendian Town, Yangxin County in 1943.
