Lepingpu town

Lepingpu town is located in the south of Chiping District, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province. It borders Zhenxing street and Dulangkou town in the north, Donge County in the East and south, Hanji Township and Guangping Township in the West. In 2017, the total population was 52556, covering an area of 125.99 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the town has a total area of 125.91 square kilometers, 7300 hectares of arable land, 88 administrative villages and 111 natural villages, with a total population of 54600.

National Highway 105 and niujiaodian Liaocheng highway cross the town. Zhaoniuhe, chichonghe, lepingpufen and guangpingfen pass through the town. 90% of the villages in the town have asphalt roads.

Historical evolution

In July 1982, sanshilipu commune was changed into Lepingpu commune. In July 1984, it was changed into Lepingpu town. In March 2001, Haoji township was merged into Lepingpu town.

Human history

There are five historical sites, two cultural sites are Longshan cultural sites; Lepingpu North Street is a municipal key cultural relics protection unit; jiaochangpu is mu Guiying's military training place; Tucheng village is the site of Chiping County in the Northern Wei Dynasty. Zhu Zhifan, the number one scholar in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, was a native of Zhuzhuang village in the town. He had been an envoy to Korea and wrote the manuscript of envoys to Korea, nanhuanlizhu, jishengshi, luohuashi, etc.

The town is located in Luxi Plain, a typical temperate continental climate, the terrain is high in the West and low in the East, flat terrain, fertile soil, rich in water resources. Asphalt roads and water supply projects have been popularized in every village, reaching more than 70% in the whole town.

Among them, jiaochangpu Longshan cultural site is a key cultural relic protection unit of the state; Lepingpu Beijie site is a key cultural relic protection unit of the city; Tucheng site is an ancient city site of Chiping County in the Northern Wei Dynasty, which is a key cultural relic protection unit of the city; Dawei Longshan site, Xilu site and qianwangtun site are cultural relic protection units at the county level.

Boji Zhao village has a long history of weaving, Liu village's combs and Daxu village's "longxumian".

Economic overview

We should make full use of the rich resources of agricultural and sideline products and the unique regional advantages, and vigorously develop the agricultural economy through "market + base + farmers" and order agriculture. At present, there are two specialized wholesale markets for pollution-free vegetables in villages and towns, with a daily trading volume of more than 100000 kg. There are more than 5000 vegetable greenhouses in the town, 11000 mu of open vegetables, 6000 mu of high-quality orchards, 9000 mu of fast-growing and high-yield forests, and 35 km of green channels. As a star town of animal husbandry in Liaocheng City, there are 46 specialized villages for animal husbandry, with 19300 large livestock, 400000 chickens, and 3200 mu of aquaculture area. Two trading markets have been built, which is one of the largest markets for cattle and piglets in western Shandong. Leping Town has been successively awarded the honorary titles of "advanced township of agricultural industrial structure adjustment", "science and technology demonstration township", "animal husbandry Star Township", "advanced township of economic work" and "advanced unit of urban and rural construction" by the city and county. For three consecutive years, Leping town ranks first in the city in agricultural industrial structure adjustment and is the first vegetable Star Township in Liaocheng City.

Infrastructure construction

The town is a central town named by Shandong provincial government, and the master plan of Lepingpu central town was formulated in 2000. Over the past few years, the town Party committee and government have been planning and building small towns in strict accordance with the spirit of relevant documents and the requirements of the overall planning, with high standards and strict requirements, and strive to build an important political, economic, cultural and transportation center in the south of Chiping. The disorderly piles were thoroughly cleaned up. The disorderly stickers, graffiti and advertising plaques along the town were rectified. The town street sanitation management office and sanitation team were set up to take charge of the daily management of the city appearance and environmental sanitation of the town, so as to sweep every day and keep clean all day. The Three Guarantees in front of the sanitation door were implemented at the entrance of shops in the street, the original green belt was transformed, and the drainage ditch was thoroughly excavated and treated.
