Wenyuan sub district office in Gangcheng District of Jinan City governs 41 administrative villages with a population of 158000, covering an area of 100 square kilometers. It is adjacent to the beautiful lianhuashengjing National Forest Park (Lianhuashan, Laiwu) in Jinan, Shandong Province. In 2007, the town's financial revenue reached 23.17 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 6314 yuan. All previous Party committees and governments of Wenyuan sub district office in Gangcheng District of Jinan City have attached great importance to the work of forest and fruit, especially since the establishment of the new Party committee and government, they have always taken the development of economic forest as the fundamental measure to enrich the people and strengthen the village, and focused on the development of peach industry with the goal of building a national peach strong sub district office.
