Baxianqiao Street

Baxianqiao sub district office is located in Ningyang County, Tai'an City, Shandong Province. In September 2010, the original Ningyang town was abolished, and two sub district offices, Confucian temple and baxianqiao, were set up. The office is located in Yangjiazhuang village.

Historical evolution

Baxianqiao street is the hometown of Zhou Dynasty. The Han Dynasty belonged to Ningyang County. In the Qing Dynasty, the county seat was surrounded by fangkuo, Linyi society and Qingchuan society in the west, and Weizhou society in the East. From the Anti Japanese War to the beginning of liberation, it belonged to the first district. In 1951, the city was surrounded by the eighth District, which was renamed Chengguan town in January 1957. In 1958, Chengguan Town merged with sidian people's commune to build Weixing people's commune. In 1959, it was changed into Chengguan people's commune. In 1982, it was changed into Chengguan Town, and in 1984, it was changed into Chengguan District. In November 1985, Ningyang town was established. In September 2010, the original Ningyang town was abolished, and two sub district offices, Confucian temple and baxianqiao, were set up at the same time.

It is a typical "Tailai Feining" plain with flat terrain, mild climate, four distinct seasons and sufficient light. The annual average temperature is 13.4 ℃, the frost free period is 207 days, and the annual rainfall is about 713 mm. The soil is mainly yellow soil. The maximum distance between East and West is 11 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 9 km. The total area is 5131.8 hectares, including 2748 hectares of cultivated land. There are three main rivers, i.e. Weihe River, Zhaowang River and ningyanggou River, which flow through the territory and are rich in groundwater resources. The main food crops suitable for planting are corn, wheat, sorghum, etc. The main cash crops are cotton, peanut, soybean, etc. The vegetation area is 4105 hectares, covering 80%.
