Dazhanglou Town, belonging to Jiaxiang County, Jining City, Shandong Province, is located in the north of Jiaxiang County, bordering Nanwang town of Wenshang County in the East, wanzhang Township in the southeast, Macun town in the south, laosengtang Township in the West and Liangbaosi town in the north, with an administrative area of 72.91 square kilometers.

History of construction

From the Western Zhou Dynasty to the spring and Autumn period, dazhanglou town was situated in jiaoguo and Xianqiu.

From the Qin Dynasty to the Western Han Dynasty, it was governed by Yuanqi county.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belongs to Wenshang County.

In 1949, it was assigned to the Fifth District of Pingyuan province and Wangxian county.

In August 1953, it belonged to the 15th District of Jiaxiang County.

In March 1958, it was called Zhanglou commune of Jiaxiang County. In December of the same year, it was assigned to Jining City.

In 1962, Jiaxiang County was restored and renamed Zhanglou commune.

In 1982, it changed its name to dazhanglou commune because it had the same name as Zhanglou commune in Weishan County.

In 1984, it was changed into dazhanglou township.

In 2000, dazhanglou Township and Hongyun Township were abolished and dazhanglou town was merged.
