Dadouzhen
Dadou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Guangrao County, Dongying City, Shandong Province, is located in the northeast of Guangrao County, bordering Yangkou town of Shouguang City in the East, Taitou town of Shouguang City in the south, daozhuang town in the West and Dingzhuang town across the Xiaoqing River in the north, with a total administrative area of 130.48 square kilometers.
In December 1948, it was set up to govern Matou township; in July 1984, it was changed to Dadou township; in May 2010, it was abolished and xiliuqiao township was merged to establish Dadou town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of the town was 51885. As of June 2020, Dadou town has 37 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 47 industrial enterprises in Dadou Town, including 11 large-scale enterprises and 68 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters. In 2019, the gross output value of Dadou town will be 3.466 billion yuan, the total industrial output value will be 1.135 billion yuan, the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery will be 630 million yuan, and the fiscal revenue will be 32.6 million yuan.
History of construction
In December 1948, the district was set up to govern Matou township.
In May 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township merged, and the county was set up to govern Matou township; in September of the same year, it was changed into Dongfeng liushe; in October of the same year, it was renamed Matou commune.
In March 1964, the District branch was established, with Matou district and five small communes including Matou commune.
In November 1970, the district was withdrawn and the Matou commune was established.
In March 1982, it was renamed Dadou commune.
In July 1984, it was changed to dadouxiang.
In May 2010, Dadou Township and xiliuqiao Township were abolished and Dadou town was merged.
