Kenli Street
Kenli street, under the jurisdiction of Kenli District, Dongying City, Shandong Province, is the residence of the people's Government of Kenli district. It is located in the middle of Kenli District, adjacent to Xinglong Street and Yong'an town in the East, Shengli Street and Wenhui street in Dongying District in the south, Shengtuo town in the west, Chenzhuang town in Lijin County across the Yellow River in the north, and Huanghekou town in the northeast, with a total area of 202 square kilometers.
In 1928, Xue immigrants came here to reclaim wasteland and set up Minfeng village; in August 2009, Xisong township was merged into Kenli town and changed into Kenli street. By the end of 2011, Kenli street had a total population of 70065. As of June 2020, Kenli street has jurisdiction over 12 communities, 82 administrative villages and one village level unit.
In 2011, the financial revenue of Kenli street was 104 million yuan, an increase of 21.75% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 10595 yuan.
History of construction
In 1928, Xue's immigrants came here to reclaim wasteland and set up Minfeng village.
In September 1941, the market was set up, and in November of the same year, the office of the Fifth District of reclamation was established. Since then, with the increase of immigrants, the villages have gradually formed into four large areas in the East, West, South and North, namely "Minfeng", "Minan", "Minli" and "Minxing".
In 1943, the four villages were unified and called "Minfeng village".
In July 1946, Minfeng District Office was renamed as kenwu district office.
In March 1956, it was put under the jurisdiction of Guangrao County; in June of the same year, the Fifth District Office of the reclamation area was abolished, and Minfeng Township and Gaogai township (Guangrao County at that time) were under the jurisdiction of the county.
In April 1958, Gaogai township was merged into Minfeng township; in September of the same year, Minfeng township was merged with Dongzhang Township, which was called Dongfeng 17 commune; in October of the same year, it was renamed Minfeng commune.
In July 1960, it was also put under Kenli County, known as Minfeng commune.
In February 1963, the original Gaogai Township and Dongzhang Township were divided by Minfeng commune, and Gaogai and Xizhang communes (under the jurisdiction of Kenli County) were established.
In December 1981, it was renamed Shuanghe Town, and the town office was moved from Minfeng village to the east of the county.
In July 1984, Xizhang commune was abolished, and eight brigades including YANWO, Yanjia, Cangzhou, Weizi, Lianhe, Buhu, zuoer and zuoer were assigned to Shuanghe town. On August 18 of the same year, Shuanghe town was renamed Kenli town after the full name of the county.
In July 1984, six villages south of liugan in Gaogai Township were designated as Shengli town.
On February 10, 2001, Gaogai town was merged into Kenli town.
In August 2009, Xisong township was merged into Kenli town and changed into Kenli street.
