Qidu Town

Qidu Town, subordinate to Linzi District, Zibo City, Shandong Province, is located in the north central part of Linzi District. It faces Huangcheng town across Zihe River in the East, Linzi city in the south, Fenghuang town in the West and Jingzhong town in the north, with an administrative area of 52.77 square kilometers.

In February 1958, Linzi county was withdrawn from its district to establish a town, and Gucheng district was abolished to establish Chengguan town. In October of the same year, Linzi was merged into Yidu county to establish Gucheng commune. In January 1962, Linzi separated from Yidu county and changed its name to Chengguan commune. In 1970, it was Chengguan commune of Linzi District of Zibo City. By October 1974, it was the seat of Linzi county and district government. History of construction

In the 19th year of King li of Zhou Dynasty (859 BC), Duke Xian of Qi moved the capital back to Yingqiu (Linzi), which lasted for 638 years.
