Jianhu Street

Jianhu town belongs to Yuecheng District of Shaoxing City, located in the south of Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. It is adjacent to Kuaiji mountain scenic spot in the East, Pingshui town in Keqiao District in the south, Lanting town in Keqiao district and Yinshan Yueguo mausoleum reserve in the west, Lanting National Forest Park, and Chengnan street in the north. The town center is located at 29 ° 56 ′ 1 ″ N and 120 ° 34 ′ 15 ″ E.

Historical evolution

Jianhu town was formed by the merging of Nanchi, Potang and Chengnan in 1992, and was transferred from Shaoxing County to Yuecheng District in July 2000. In August 2001, Yuecheng district was adjusted. The original Jianhu town was divided into Chengnan street and xinjianhu town.

As a symbol of crossing the land, qinwangshan is, in a certain sense, the representative of Kuaiji mountain and the 289 character Xiaozhuan "carved stone inscription on qinkuaiji mountain" (commonly known as "Lisi tablet") left by Lisi on the top of qinwangshan, which is a rare treasure.

Tomb of Chen Hongshou

Chen Hongshou's tomb is located in hengpengling, shuguanshan'ao, which forms a green valley with the surrounding hills. On the terrace of the valley and the plain, there is a tomb made of blue stone, where Chen Hongshou, a painter in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, lies. Chen Hongshou's tomb faces north and south. The exposed part of the front is square. It is made of rough processed blue stone blocks, alternating with straight and horizontal, and staggered joints. It is 3.94 meters long and 1.32 meters high.

Human history

There are many Shantang reservoirs in Jianhu town. Qinwangshan, 543.6 meters above sea level, is named after the fact that Emperor Qinshihuang visited the mountain more than 2200 years ago when he was on a tour to the south. Tianyi temple, Feizi temple, Laoyue temple, longwangtang temple and bijiajian temple, which were built more than 1600 years ago, are located in qinwangshan. Jiaxiang temple, the birthplace of Sanlunzong, was once at the foot of qinwangshan He once raised fish in duantang reservoir.
