Fuan Street

Fu'an street, subordinate to Jiaozhou City, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, is located in the center of Jiaozhou City and on the Jiaozhou Bay of Shandong Peninsula, with a total area of 12.9 square kilometers. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Jiaozhou City and the seat of Jiaozhou municipal Party committee and municipal government. In 2016, Fuan street had a permanent population of 160000. By 2019, Fu'an street has jurisdiction over 24 communities and 10 administrative villages.

Historical evolution

In 1958, it belonged to Chengguan commune.

In 1982, Chengguan commune was changed into Chengguan town.

In 1984, it was renamed Jiaocheng town.

In 1988, Jiaozhou Municipal People's government transferred some villages from Dazhuang Township and merged with Jiaocheng town to establish Fu'an street.

Jiaozhou revolutionary martyrs cemetery

Jiaozhou revolutionary martyrs cemetery, located at No.32, Fuzhou North Road, Fu'an street, Jiaozhou City, was founded in October 1955, covering a total area of 29900 square meters. It is adjacent to the middle section of Fuzhou Road in the East, Jiaozhou Park in the west, Jiaozhou Road in the north and Zhengzhou Road (people's Square) in the south. There are 1173 martyrs' remains buried in the cemetery area, including 634 unknown martyrs and 539 famous martyrs.

Jiaozhou Yangge City

Jiaozhou Yangko City, located in Zhengzhou road, Fu'an street, is composed of Yangko theater, Yangko square, Yangko school and folk culture museum. It is mainly used to show the history of Jiaozhou folk customs, folk opera, paper-cut painting and other folk arts and historical evolution.
