Yinbaohu Township

Yinbaohu township is the west gate of Poyang County, a pilot county directly under the jurisdiction of Jiangxi Province, with an area of 82.6 square kilometers and a permanent population of 24052 (in 2017). It is adjacent to Duchang County of Jiujiang City and is located on the edge of Poyang Lake. Xihe River, one of the major tributaries of Poyang Lake, runs through the whole territory. It has jurisdiction over seven village committees including Yinbao, Minzhu, Qinglin, Xifen, Dashan, Heping and Mingshan, and the township government is stationed in Heping.
