Wanbaohe town

Wanbaohe Town, belonging to Taoshan District, Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northwest of Taoshan district. It is adjacent to Taonan street and Taoshan street in the East, Qiezihe forest farm in the south, Xinxing District in the West and breeding livestock farm in the north. In 2018, the area was 59.35 square kilometers, and the registered residence was 10957.

In 1984, it belonged to Hongqi Township, an emerging district. In 1984, Taoxi township was set up in Taoshan District, with jurisdiction over 6 villages. In 1996, it was changed into wanbaohe town. In October 2002, 15 neighborhood committees were merged into six communities. In March 2004, six communities merged into four. As of October 2019, wanbaohe town has jurisdiction over 2 communities, 6 administrative villages and 1 living area.

In October 2019, wanbaohe town governs two communities: Xinxuan community and Liujing community; six administrative villages: Taoshan village, Taonan village, liangzhongchang village, badaogang village, Wanbao village and Hongyan village; and one living area: Qiezihe forest farm.

Wanbaohe town is located in the northwest of Taoshan District, adjacent to Taonan street and Taoshan street in the East, Qiezihe forest farm in the south, Xinxing District in the West and breeding stock farm in the north. The area is 59.35 square kilometers.

Wanbaohe town is located at the foot of Taoshan mountain and belongs to the beach terrain. The terrain is flat, the soil layer is thick, the groundwater is rich, and the soil is developed into swamp soil and meadow soil. The altitude is between 160 and 180 meters.

Wanbaohe town belongs to temperate monsoon climate, which is characterized by obvious four seasons, drought and less rain in spring, high temperature and rainy in summer, high air in autumn, cold and dry in winter, soil freezing period in October every year, early May next year, up to 230 days.
