Shacun town
Shacun town is a town under the jurisdiction of Taihe County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province. It is located in the southeast of Taihe County, in the middle reaches of Zhuling river. It is 30 kilometers away from Taihe County, with a total area of 80.94 square kilometers. It governs one neighborhood committee and eight village committees, with a permanent resident population of 16925 (2017). Shacun town was built in the early Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. The street was originally built on the barren sandbank beside the Zhuling river. However, it has gradually become the main road leading to the county from shuicha, zhonglong, Shangdi, laoyingpan, Guanxi and other towns in Taihe County. Shacunwei town is located in a superior location. The national highway 319 runs through the north and south, the Beijing Kowloon railway runs through the hinterland, and there is a railway station. The convenient rural highway connects six towns in Hedong. geographical position
Shacun town is adjacent to zhonglong Township in the East, Shangdi Township in the southeast, shuicha Township in the south, Shangmo Township in the southwest, Guanchao town in the northwest, Guanxi town in the north, 319 National Highway and Beijing Kowloon Railway running through the town, and has a freight station. Shacun station is the transportation hub and Central Township of Hedong in Taihe County.
Administrative evolution
In the Western Zhou Dynasty, Fushan city was established; in the northern and Southern Dynasties, Chen's Ministry stationed troops in Shacun and built a besieged city; in the early Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, Wei Town was established; in October 1931, Wantai County Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Soviet government of Wantai county were established. In 1950, it belonged to Shacun, Shashi and Gaolong townships; in 1956, Shacun, Shashi and Gaolong merged into Gaolong township; in 1958, Gaolong township was changed into Gaolong people's commune; in 1983, Gaolong people's commune was renamed as Shacun people's commune; in 1984, Shacun people's commune was abolished and Shacun township was established; on June 5, 1997, Shacun township was abolished and Shacun town was established.

Shacun town of Taihe County has a long history and rich culture. in the Tang Dynasty, the Liu family moved from Jinling and built Liujia village in Shaxi. According to the records of Taihe County annals, "there was Liujia village first, and then Sha Village.". During the Northern Song Dynasty, Taihe Prefecture sentenced Yang Shilu to martial arts and granted him the title of Marquis of ten thousand families. Seeing the surging Zhuling River in front of Gaolong village, he lived there. in the Southern Song Dynasty, the ancestor of Xiao family in Fenggang village moved here from the capital to avoid the war in the Jin and Song dynasties. In his later life, he inherited the family tradition of his ancestor's scholarly family and learned a lot. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were six Jinshi and 15 Juren. During the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty, Yin Zhi, the second prime minister of Taihe after Yang Shiqi, became the second prime minister to join the cabinet of the Ming Dynasty. In the 14th year of Chenghua, Zeng Yan, a native of Nankeng village in Pingzhou, took part in the palace examination and was appointed the number one scholar by the emperor. In 1932, Yin Mingliang of Yinjia village joined the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army and became the founding General of new China.
