Nanjing town
Nanjing town, located in the south of QUANNAN County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is the economic, transportation and cultural center of the whole south. At present, it has 12 administrative villages and 154 village groups with a land area of 133 square kilometers and a population of 21000. The connecting line of Jiangxi Guangdong Beijing Zhuhai expressway runs through the whole town from east to west, which is the first gate for Guangdong to enter Jiangxi from the connecting line of Jiangxi Guangdong Beijing Zhuhai expressway.
On July 28, 2017, Nanjing town was selected as the second batch of small towns with Chinese characteristics.
Historical evolution
In 1230, tan and Li moved from Chaling Prefecture, Hunan Province. There is a small road from quannancheng to Nanjing. They walk along the river for 20 kilometers. After passing through the narrow and long Yangchang trail, they suddenly come to light. The terrain is relatively flat. The two ends are wide. The narrow and long section in the middle is commonly known as Jing. It is in the south of Shanjing and in the south of QUANNAN County, so it is called Nanjing. On the eve of liberation, Nanjing belonged to the Fourth District of Qiannan County, with 11 guarantors. From 1949 to 1955, it belonged to the fourth district (Nanjing District), with Nanjing Township, Reshui Township, magutang Township, Luotian Township, Changtang Township, tianzai Township, Dazhuang Township, gujiaying Township, Wuhe Township and Yushe township. In 1956, it belonged to Nanjing district and established Nanjing Township, Zhongzhai Township, Changtang Township, Wuhe Township, Dazhuang Township, wuzhiba Township, Makeng Township, Duntou Township and Dajishan town. Four high-level societies, Nanjing, Wuhe, magutang, Luotian and Reshui, were established during the cooperation. Rocket commune was established in 1958 and renamed Nanjing commune in 1960. In the second half of 1964, magutang commune was merged into Nanjing commune. It was changed to Nanjing Township in 1984 and Nanjing town in 1994. In 1997, it covers an area of 85.7 square kilometers and has a population of 14000. It has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages including Shuishui, Zhongche, Datian, Nanjing, Luotian, Wushe, HuangYun and magutang. The township government is located in nanjingwei. In 2001, Dazhuang township was abolished and transferred to Nanjing town.

The "Gaoshan brand" pollution-free vegetables registered by the State Administration for Industry and commerce are well-known, with an annual planting area of 11000 mu. In particular, with the accelerated pace of agricultural industrialization, a number of foreign enterprises with modern industrial level have settled in Nanjing town, pillar industries with local characteristics and export-oriented economy have begun to take shape, and Taiwan's huangda orchid base, the largest in the province, has settled in Nanjing town. Nanjing town has complete infrastructure, two 35KVA substations, and the transformation of urban rural power grid has been completed, which completely solves the shortage of power supply. The town's 10000 t / D waterworks have been built and put into use, and communication facilities have been popularized throughout the town. Nanjing town is rich in tourism resources, including the National Nature Reserve "Chebaling forest nature reserve" and hot spring resort integrating recuperation and leisure.

On July 29, 2020, it was named as the National Health township (county) of 2017-2019 cycle by the National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee.
