City Town

Yicheng Zhen is located in the north of Wu'an city, 17 kilometers away from the urban area. Wu'an Yicheng highway passes through. Its postcode is 056321. The town government is located in Sanjie village, Yicheng. The town has a total of 25 administrative villages with a permanent population of 35581 (in 2017), with a total area of 66.2 square kilometers. City town has a long history. It was built in the spring and Autumn period. Since the implementation of county annals in the Qin Dynasty, it has been the location of county several times, so it is called "city town". After renovation, it has gradually become an important town of "lane for chess, road thoroughfare, choke pass, Merchant Collection", and one of the eight ancient towns in Wu'an city.

Urban and rural areas were established in 1953, Datong commune was established in 1958, Yicheng commune was established in 1961, the town was changed in 1984, and Zhaodian township was incorporated in 1996. In 1997, it had an area of 67 square kilometers and a population of 34000.

Yicheng town is located in the northeast of Wu'an city, adjacent to Xingtai City in the north and Yongnian County in the East, which is the north gate of Wu'an city.
