Miaoling Township, subordinate to Xiushui County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the eastern border of Xiushui county. It is adjacent to Qingjiang township of Wuning County in the East, shimenlou town of Wuning County in the south, Huangao Township in the southwest, Yining town in the northwest, Sidu town in the north and Taiyangsheng town in the northeast. In September 1949, it was divided into three townships, namely Dalu, Miaoling and Shankou, which were subordinate to Sandu district (District 2); in August 1951, Dalu, Miaoling and Shankou were changed into Huangao district (District 13); in September 1956, the three townships were merged into Miaoling Township, which was subordinate to Sandu district; in September 1958, Miaoling township was abolished and hongguangsheng commune was established; in 1959, hongguangsheng commune was renamed Miaoling commune; in March 1960, Miaoling commune was established It was merged into Taiyangsheng commune; in September 1961, it was divided into Miaoling commune, which belonged to Yining district; in September 1968, it was merged into Taiyangsheng commune; in January 1972, it was divided into Miaoling commune, which belonged to ningzhou district; in June 1984, it was abolished and Miaoling township was renamed.

Anfeng water originates from tanglongaoli, Huangao Township, and flows into Miaoling water at Miaoling street, with a river length of 8.5 km.
