Paishang town is a town under the jurisdiction of Xiangdong District, Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province. It is located at the junction of Hunan and Jiangxi Province and adjacent to Liling City, Hunan Province in the West. It is named after the confluence of two rivers in a row. The town covers an area of 80.44 square kilometers. The hot spring in Paishang Town, the pagoda in Maoyuan, the Yuanyang tree at the junction of Jiangxi and Hunan, the Shanlong spring at the foot of shangzhuling mountain, and the Nuo culture in Fucong nunnery in MaoYuan with a history of 400 years all have their own unique charm.

On July 24, 2019, Paishang town was selected into the list of national strong agricultural towns in 2019.
