Tongyou Street

Tongyou Street office was officially established on January 1, 2003. It is located in the south foot of Wuyishan Mountain and the northeast of Jianyang, a national scenic spot. It is the core area of North Fujian Economic Development Zone and the key area of "one point, one line, one center of gravity" in Nanping City. Tongyou has become a new development area.

The street now has 12 administrative villages and 5 neighborhood committees, with a total area of 207.3 square kilometers, a cultivated area of 33665 Mu and a total population of 59850 (2010).

Transportation

Tongyou street traffic is very convenient. Tongyou is located in 316, 205 National Road, Hengnan railway runs through the territory, two passenger and freight stations are located in its territory, only 40 km away from Wuyishan airport. The national key project, Punan expressway, passes through the territory, and the passageway and service area are set in Tongyou traffic pivot section. The provincial, county and township highways of the villages (residences) under its jurisdiction crisscross, forming a traffic network extending in all directions.

Climate and products

Tongyou street is a subtropical monsoon climate, warm and humid throughout the year, abundant rainfall, annual precipitation of more than 1600 mm. The territory is rich in resources and products. With abundant forest resources, the whole street has a forested area of 226000 mu, of which 12000 Mu is Phyllostachys pubescens, with a forest coverage rate of 75%; Tongyou street is the main production area of grain and cash crops in Jianyang City, and used to be one of the townships (streets) with the largest sales of commodity grain in the province.

While continuing to develop high-quality rice in the streets, through the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure, vigorously develop economic crop cultivation, and make the industry bigger and stronger. Tongyou has formed eight leading industries of grape, tobacco, vegetables, fruits, breeding, edible fungi, high-quality rice, seedlings and flowers, and established the scale characteristics of "one village, one product". There are 3200 mu of grapes, 2630 mu of flue-cured tobacco, 11000 mu of vegetables, 750 mu of seedlings and flowers, 10 million bags of edible fungi, 15000 tons of grapes, 8000 tons of flue-cured tobacco, 2 million tons of vegetables, 87000 kg of edible fungi, 960000 poultry and 20000 pigs.
