Jingfeng town is located in the east of Hui'an County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. It borders Meizhou Bay in the north, Taiwan Strait in the East and Dagang Bay in the south. There are two versions of the name of Jingfeng

1、 Jingfeng is named after Jingfeng mountain and Jingfeng temple, an ancient temple built in the second year of Xiantong (861) of Tang Dynasty. According to the records of Quanzhou Prefecture, "Jingshan is a Jianshan mountain, also known as Jingfeng, in the 27th capital.".
