Fangtang Township, Ningguo City, Anhui Province, is located in the west of Ningguo City, upstream of the beautiful qinglongwan reservoir, bordering Jingde County in the south, Jing County in the West and Xuancheng in the north, 45 kilometers away from the urban area. With a total area of 267 square kilometers, the township governs 6 administrative villages and 142 villager groups, with a total population of 14687. Surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery, it is a typical agricultural ecological town. Edible fungi has become the largest production base in Ningguo, with a production scale of 3.5 million sticks and more than 30 fresh-keeping warehouses. Livestock and poultry breeding is growing rapidly. There are six large-scale breeding areas and more than 200 free range farmers. The area of the breeding area is 80000 square meters, and the breeding quantity is more than 3 million. The industry of Phyllostachys heterocycla has developed rapidly, achieving the goal of increasing 1 mu of economic forest per household every year, and the area of economic forest has reached more than 30000 mu. Fangtang township has a unique advantage in tourism resources, known as the Western back garden of Ningguo. Banqiao nature reserve is connected with qinglongwan Reservoir Scenic Area and approved as National Forest Park. Scenic spots include Xishan karst cave, Banshan Longmen ridge, Longwang pool, Xishan martyr's tomb, cliff wonder, ghost gate, etc.; there are thousands of animals and plants, more than 100 species of rare animals and plants, known as biodiversity, animal and plant kingdom. The only ten thousand mu natural sweet storage forest in subtropical zone is the largest in East China. Gaofeng mountain is 1153 meters above sea level. Baiyun temple (Tiewa Temple) was first built in the Zhenguan period of Tang Dynasty, and later Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang of Ming Dynasty was canonized as "baiyun temple". "Wanniantai" of Prince Pancha hall has been listed as a municipal cultural relic protection unit. Shangtan ancient bridge was built in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. It spans 90 degrees, is 5.4 meters wide and 11 meters high. Now it stands tall and majestic. It is the best preserved ancient bridge in Ningguo. Shijing orchard has also been built into a unique wooden house villa, forming an agricultural ecological sightseeing park integrating characteristic fruits, ecological agriculture, sightseeing, leisure and self-cultivation, and integrating food, housing, transportation, tourism and entertainment.
