Shuangjian town is subordinate to Mengcheng County, Bozhou City, Anhui Province. It is located in the east of Mengcheng County, 15 kilometers away from the county. The 307 provincial highway and the Wohe river cross from east to west, and the Lianghuai highway cross from south to north. It has a long history, rich cultural heritage, developed transportation and rich resources. It is an important town in the east gate of Bozhou City. It covers an area of 99 square kilometers, with 83700 mu of arable land. Shuangjian town is subordinate to Mengcheng County, Bozhou City, Anhui Province. In 1990, it was awarded "national Township hundred stars" by China basic level political power construction Research Association. In 1993, the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs approved it as an established town (deputy county level). Human history

Origin of town name

Shuangjian town has a long history and splendid culture. It has a history of nearly 1300 years since it was founded in 712 ad. it's named because it's between two streams leading to Wo river. Today, Daqiao ditch in the center of Laojie street is called Dongjian in ancient times. Today, Xizhang Daqiao ditch in Laoji is called Xijian in ancient times. In ancient times, it was built between two streams, so it is called shuangjianji.

Seven milk Temple

Qizhen temple, now known as qinaimiao, is located in the primary school of qinaimiao village, Shuangjian town. Later, it was destroyed for some reason, and the village got its name from the temple. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Zuo Cheng, the provincial governor of Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province, lived in Xingyang. He had seven concubines. All concubines could treat pan Gong and his wife with courtesy. Living together in a harmonious and orderly way, he was not envied. Pan Gong often taught his seven concubines about chaste and martyr women, and all concubines said that they could be chaste and martyr. Gong said with a smile, "can you do it, too?" When the war broke out, the enemy arrived in the city and was on the verge of war. One day, when pan Gong came back, he summoned his concubines and said, "I am sent by the state again, and I don't care about my family. If you have any misfortune, you can escape separately. You must not be shamed." One of the concubines knelt down and said, "my former Lord, you are kind to me. I can die like you." After Gong left, he hanged himself, and the other six concubines were hanged one after another. Pan gongzhi was so frightened that he said, "how can you die in such a hurry?" The seven concubines died on July 5, 1341, the last year of the reign of emperor Zhengding of the Yuan Dynasty. This is a rare event in the world. In 1371, Zhang yuhongwu, a litterateur in the early Ming Dynasty, was appointed by Taichang Sicheng. Because of his own account of the five events in chuyang, Taizu ordered him to write Temple steles. Today, the temple has been destroyed.
