Tiantangzhai town

Tiantangzhai Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Jinzhai County, Lu'an City, Anhui Province, is located in the Dabie Mountains, at the junction of Hubei and Anhui provinces, Luotian County, Yingshan County and Jinzhai County, and at the southwest end of Jinzhai County, which is closely connected with the beautiful Tiantangzhai National Forest Park. Yanzihe, Changling, wudian, Huashi, shuizhuping and Zhangfan in Jinzhai County are in the East, West, South and north respectively.

In 1992, Tiantangzhai township was formed by the merging of Qianfan, houfan and Yutan (except for the two villages of Chapu and kuangfan, which were merged into Yanzihe town). In October 1998, Tiantangzhai township was established with the approval of the Provincial Department of civil affairs. In 2000, with the approval of Anhui provincial government, Tiantangzhai tourism poverty alleviation pilot zone was established in Anhui Province. In 2007, with the approval of the editorial board of Lu'an City, the Management Committee of Tiantangzhai tourism poverty alleviation Experimental Zone in Anhui Province, the Management Office of Tiantangzhai National Forest Park in Anhui Province and Tiantangzhai town jointly worked, and Tiantangzhai town was upgraded to a sub county-level town.

As of 2017, the administrative area of Tiantangzhai town is 21436 hectares, with a permanent population of 17240.

Basic information

Tiantangzhai town governs 7 administrative villages and 171 villager groups. It integrates National Forest Park, National Geopark, National Nature Reserve and national AAAAA tourist attraction. The main peak of Tiantangzhai is 1729.13 meters above sea level. It is one of the main peaks of Dabie Mountain and the watershed of Jianghuai river. The magnificent Paradise Village is known as "Kingdom of plants, natural oxygen bar, paradise of animals, sea of clouds, world of holy water, territory of Rhododendron and hometown of giant salamander". Known as "the last primeval forest in East China", it is one of the "five most beautiful places in Anhui Province", one of the "A-level tourist attractions most loved by youth in Anhui Province", the best tourist town in Anhui Province and the outdoor training base in Anhui Province. By the end of 2010, the total social output value of the town reached 280 million yuan, the fiscal revenue was 9.39 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 4972 yuan.

Ecological resources

Tiantangzhai is rich in ecological resources with annual rainfall of 1350 mm and average temperature of 16.4 ℃. There are wild boar, pangolin, leopard, Wushuai cat, musk deer, giant and small salamander, jackal, otter, long tailed pheasant, pearl yellow sheep and other rare animal and plant resources in the scenic area. It is one of the seven gene banks in China and the last primeval forest in East China. There are 250000 Mu mountain farm and 240000 Mu public welfare forest in the whole town and scenic area. There are 1487 kinds of wild plants and 634 kinds of animals in the area. There are more than 60 kinds of plants under national protection, such as lianxiangmu, lingchunmu, languoshu, xiangguoshu, jinqiansong, Cephalotaxus, etc. The forest resources are rare and simple with peculiar shape and obvious zonal distribution. There are not only the rare plants lianxiangmu and xiangguoshu, but also the unique herb Salvia bungeana in Tiantangzhai. The vigorous and straight Pinus taiwanensis has a peculiar and varied shape. Rhododendron, red maple, coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest, natural secondary forest and so on, set off the colorful paradise village. Characteristic agriculture

Around the theme of "tourism agriculture, ecological agriculture and sightseeing agriculture", Tiantangzhai implements the policies of supporting agriculture, supporting agriculture and benefiting agriculture. We should speed up the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure, enhance the comprehensive agricultural production capacity, broaden the channels for increasing farmers' income, and further promote the construction of new countryside. Focusing on the development of black haired pig, native chicken, cattle and alpine vegetables with local characteristics, a number of professional cooperatives and large farmers of planting and breeding industry have sprung up in the town. Especially driven by Fuquan Zizania latifolia, Fumin Zizania latifolia, Zhihe Panax quinquefolium and Tianyi black haired pig cooperatives, the town has transferred 3500 mu of contracted land management rights and 3000 mu of Zizania latifolia development area, 2000 mu of Alpine vegetables.

Infrastructure

The pace of infrastructure construction has been accelerated. "Yantian" (Yanzihe to Tiantangzhai) and "Tianjiu" (Tiantangzhai to Jiuzihe town in Hubei Province) highways pass through the town. Tiantangzhai tourism poverty alleviation express channel (from Tiantangzhai to banzhuyuan entrance of Shanghai Chengdu Expressway) is a poverty alleviation project determined by Chairman Wu Bangguo's inspection in Tiantangzhai, which was opened during the national day of 2014.
