Located at the intersection of two provinces (Henan and Anhui) and three counties (Bozhou, Taihe and Dancheng), national highway 105 runs through the jurisdiction area for 12 kilometers. The traffic is very convenient. It is the northernmost gateway to guard Fuyang City. Sangying town is a new town built after the district was removed and merged in 1992. In 2017, the office area of the town covers 33 mu, the total land area of the town is 58.40 square kilometers, the permanent resident population is 31323 (in 2017), there are 9 village committees, 96 natural villages, and the cultivated land area is more than 56000 mu. It is a typical agricultural town.
