Maoxi street is located in the northwest of Hanshan District, Handan City, Hebei Province. It crosses Lingxi street in the East and is adjacent to Maodong office. In the south, it reaches the junction of Hangang road and Yuxin south office. In the west, it borders Pangcun Office of Fuxing district on Jingguang railway. In the North, it reaches Laodong road and Huomo office. Its total area is 1.9 square kilometers. At the end of 2011, the total population of Maoxi sub district was 21600.

In 1956, the trade street was set up. In 1958, it became a trade commune. In 1962, Mao Xi commune was established. In 1980, it was restored to Maoxi street. As of June 2020, Maoxi street has jurisdiction over four communities: Zhuanyun community, airport community, Nanxin street community, and Junqu community. The sub district office is located at No. 17, nanshanhe street, Hanshan district.
