Qilitang Street

Qilitang street, formerly Qilitang Town, is located in the northeast of the original suburb of Hefei City, Anhui Province. It is adjacent to MODIAN township of Feidong County in the East, across the river from Lindian Township in the west, Xinghua village and Chengdong Township in the south, and Santou township of Changfeng County in the North. The town is about 6 kilometers long from east to west and 8 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 28.2 square kilometers, including 18539.18 mu of cultivated land.

On April 17, 1993, with the approval of the municipal government, Yaohai street was established. Three villages, Shengli, Wangtang and Fangmiao, were designated by Qilitang town. At the same time, Changhuai village was designated by Chengdong township to form Yaohai street. In March 2002, Hefei city was zoned. Qilitang town was zoned from suburb to Yaohai district (former East urban area), and Banqiao Village was zoned from Xinghua village to Qilitang town. Historical evolution

On June 1, 2005, with the consent of the provincial government and the reply of the Provincial Department of civil affairs, Qilitang town was cancelled and Qilitang sub district office was established. On July 8, 2005, Qilitang sub district office was officially established.
