Yandun Street

Yandun street has a land area of 62 square kilometers and a population of 42000. It now has 12 neighborhood committees and 8 villagers' committees. Chaohu water area in the street is 33.1 square kilometers. There are 1 junior middle school, 7 primary schools, 2 homes for the aged and 1 health center at street level. The construction of Binhu New Area involves 10 neighborhood committees. The new area now governs six communities: Binhu pearl, Binhu homeland, Binhu Heyuan, Binhu Huiyuan, Binhu Lanting and Shiji Jinyuan. The agricultural economy of Yandun street has risen steadily, the agricultural structure has been further optimized, and three major production bases have been formed, which are mainly melon, fruit and vegetable, economic fruit forest and aquaculture. Anhui financial lakeside modern agricultural comprehensive development demonstration zone project, which mainly focuses on the development of urban sightseeing agriculture, is located in the WanMu Niujiao dyke in our street, with other highlights such as the new rural construction pilot village in the South and Bingzi 2814 recreational fishing base.
