Daxibian Township
Daxibian Township, belonging to Kaihua County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the northeast of Kaihua County. In September 2005, daxibian township was merged with Huanggu Township in the administrative region adjustment of the whole county. It is 34 kilometers away from the county seat, bordering Chun'an County, and adjacent to Linshan Township and cuntou town.
The township covers an area of 88.49 square kilometers (2017). The total population was 5653 (in 2017), and the urban population was 213. It governs 12 administrative villages. Historical evolution
Daxibian Township and Huanggu Township were established in 1950 and merged into Shengli Township in 1956. In 1958, it was changed into daxibian management area and Huanggu management area, belonging to cuntou commune. Daxibian commune and Huanggu commune were established in 1961, and daxibian Township and Huanggu Township were changed in 1983. In 1996, daxibian Township covers an area of 40.2 square kilometers and has a population of 8000. It governs 12 administrative villages including Dongshan, daxibian, yangkeng, yangkengkou, Kan Shang, dunshang, dunxia, Dawukou, Shang'an, Yueling, chaitang and Gongyu, 21.8 kilometers away from the county. Huanggu Township covers an area of 44.3 square kilometers and has a population of 6000. It governs DAQIAOTOU, xitangwu, dashanwu, Yangguang, fenglingdi, Huanggu and YeChuan There are 12 administrative villages in Fuwu, Xiawan, Fangtian, Dongkeng and laojukeng, 21.8 kilometers away from the county. In 2005, Huanggu township was abolished and merged into daxibian Township, with jurisdiction over 24 administrative villages including Dongshan, daxibian, yangkeng, yangkengkou, kanyou, dunshang, dunxia, Dawukou, Shang'an, Yueling, chaitang, Gongyu, daaotou, xitangwu, dashanwu, Yangguang, fenglindi, Huanggu, YeChuan, Fuwu, Xiawan, Fangtian, Dongkeng and Maoxin. The township government is stationed in dunshang village, covering an area of 85.7 square kilometers It has a population of 13800.

The township has 6739 mu of arable land and 96722 mu of mountain forest. In 2007, the total output value of industry and agriculture was 24.12 million yuan, including 43.26 million yuan of industrial output value and 4059 yuan of per capita income of farmers. There are 518 party members, 35 township government staff and 10 leading members in the township. in December 2010, the scale of administrative villages in daxibian township was adjusted from the original 24 to 12, namely: yangkeng, yangkengkou, daxibian, Dunnan, Shang'an, Yueling, Gongyu, daaotou, Huanggu, Xiawan, Fangtian and Maoxin. In January 2012, daxibian township government officially moved from Dongshan village to Dunnan village. farmers' income is mainly migrant workers and famous tea, sericulture and other planting industries. There are 4390 migrant workers in the township, accounting for 48% of the total labor force of 9224, mainly distributed in Hangzhou, Yiwu and other provinces. Mainly engaged in the construction industry, in 2007 the income of migrant workers reached more than 60 million yuan. There are 4000 mu famous tea bases in the township with an annual output value of 1.5 million yuan, and 2000 mu sericulture bases with an annual output of 43 tons and an output value of 1 million yuan.
