Tangya town
Tangya town is located in the abdomen of Jindong District, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, adjacent to Xiaoshun town in the East, Dongxiao street in the west, Yiwu River in the southeast, Lipu town across the river, and Caozhai town in the north. The town government is located in Tangya village, 15km away from Jinhua City, with a population of 31913 (in 2017), and has jurisdiction over 48 administrative villages.

Agriculture mainly includes grape, citrus, cotton, honey, flowers, seedlings and pearl breeding. Grape is the leading industry of agriculture in Tangya Town, with a planting area of 7000 mu, an output of 14000 tons and an annual income of 21 million yuan. It is known as the "hometown of grape in China". It is famous both inside and outside the province for its large fruit and high quality. It is also known as "Turpan in the south of the Yangtze River". The main varieties are Jufeng, fujimino, meiguotizi, etc. In 2004, the pollution-free grape base passed the provincial acceptance. Breeding industry is mainly pig and cow. In 2004, the total industrial and agricultural output value of the town reached 466 million yuan, and the total financial revenue was 4.557 million yuan. Tangya has a long history and profound culture. The three villages of Hanxiang, xiajinshan and Jincun under its jurisdiction were revolutionary bases in the Anti Japanese war. Quewei bridge in Hanxiang village, xiacang general hall in xiacang village and Fan Zhongyan Memorial Hall in Xigan village are key cultural relics protection units at the county level.
