Xinggong Street

Xinggong street was originally located in the center of Shahekou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province. The street starts from Xi'an Road in the East, connects Southwest Road in the west, faces Malan River in the South and ends at railway line in the north. Covering an area of 4 square kilometers, it has jurisdiction over 10 communities with a total population of 76628 (in 2010) and 23 volunteer teams. There are 70 members of the neighborhood committee (including 22 voluntary members) and 41 community workers.

The former Party Working Committee and office of Xinggong Street are located at 159 Xishan street, Shahekou District, Dalian city. They mainly provide office services such as party and government affairs, population and family planning, social affairs, double support, preferential care, people's armed forces and comprehensive management of social security. There are 700 square meters of entrepreneurial center, which provides a good development platform for entrepreneurs. The original Xinggong Street Community Service Center is located at No.65 Guanghua Street, Shahekou District, mainly including social security, community re employment, enterprise retirees Management, urban management and health, home-based care and other services.

Xinggong street is an area where culture, education, business, enterprises and undertakings are concentrated in Dalian City, and it is also a prosperous area in Dalian city. There are 9 large-scale business centers (markets) and more than 50 enterprises and institutions in the block. There are many kinds of commodities distributed by enterprises, which can meet the consumption needs of nearly half of the population in the whole region and even the whole city.

Xinggong street has achieved rapid development, and has initially formed a comprehensive new area integrating commerce and trade, catering services, leisure and entertainment, tourism and shopping, residential apartments, etc. Huanghe Road, Xi'an Road, Southwest Road and Wuyi Road are the main traffic arteries in the area, extending in all directions. With Xi'an Road commercial city as the leading business center in the western part of Dalian city is taking shape. There are more than 120 large and medium-sized enterprises in the region. Dalian Locomotive Works and Dalian No.1 Power Plant are located here.

There is a university, four middle schools and four primary schools, and two district level hospitals in Xinggong street. These organizations have brought great convenience to the work of the Communist Youth League. The working committee of the Communist Youth League in the street makes full use of the resources in its jurisdiction, and uses the opportunity of the parents' meeting to publicize the community schools, so that students and parents can enter the community, organize student holiday activities, and create the characteristics of the work of the Communist Youth League in the street. Through our efforts, the street youth work has won the glorious title of advanced Youth League branch of Shahekou District in 2004. Through their own efforts, 10 communities have received various commendations: Daqing community won the honorary title of advanced League branch of Shahekou District in 2002, learning from Leifeng advanced collective; Quanyong community won the honorary title of advanced League branch of Shahekou District in 2004, etc.

Xinggong street, especially Zhongchang East 5th Street, Xinggong North 1st Street to Xinggong North 7th Street, is a residential area where people go to the market in the morning and barbecue in the middle of the night. The noise of a private motorcycle is thrilling every day. Residents can't sleep. The once clean street is decadent into a garbage street.

Street revocation

In December 2019, Dalian municipal government decided to split Xinggong street and merge Daqing community, Xishan community, Hongfa community and Hengyuan community into Xinggong street

Malan Street

The original six communities of Xinggong street, including Quanyong community, Yongji community, Xingxin community, Xingsheng community, xingshe community and Ruyi community (including Dalian Locomotive Factory), were merged with the original Zhongshan Park Street to form a new one
