Wuyang Street

Wuyang street, located in the southwest of Deqing County, was set up in January 2016. It is divided from the southern part of the former Wukang Town, covering an area of 96 square kilometers, and has jurisdiction over 3 communities and 11 administrative villages. The registered residence population is 34 thousand and the resident population is 55 thousand. The sub district office temporarily lives at 682 Zhongxing South Road.

Historical evolution

In January 2016, with the approval of Zhejiang Province and Huzhou City, some districts of Deqing County were adjusted. The former Wukang town and Sanhe Township were abolished and Wukang street, Wuyang street, Fuxi street and Xiazhuhu street were established.

Wuyang Street area was originally under the jurisdiction of Wukang town (established in 1999-2016), and most of the areas are in Song Village, which is the whole of Shangbai town (established before 1999) and the old Wukang town (established before 1999).

Geographical population

Wuyang street is located in the southwest of Deqing, adjacent to Xiazhuhu street in the East, Pingyao Town, Yuhang District, Hangzhou in the south, Wukang street in the West and Wukang street in the north.

The area is 96 square kilometers, and four to the range: 3 communities in Wuyang, Tashan and upper Bai, 11 villages in 11 villages: Song Village, Tashan, Shang Bai, Shan people, Chengshan, Shuang Yan, Changchun, Longfeng, Xia Bai, Taiping and lighthouse. Wuyang community:

It is located in the southwest of the street area, reaching Zhongxing South Road in the East, the first line around the city in the south, national highway 104 in the West and Wuyang street in the north, with a total area of 0.62 square kilometers. There are two streets and three roads in the area: Wuyang street, Tashan street, Zhongxing South Road, Yingxi South Road and Xingkang South Road.

Tashan community:

It was established in November 2010. It is located in Tashan in the East, Youzi street in the south, Zhongxing South Road in the West and Wuyang street in the north, with a total area of about 1 square kilometer. At present, there are five residential quarters, namely Baihe apartment, Tashan Mingyuan, Tashan Renjia, Xishan villa and Yujing mansion, and a new science and Technology City under construction.

Shangbai community:

The community was established in 1999 after the Shangbai town government was abolished and merged into the Wukang town government. It extends to Xidong canal in the East, Xiangxi port in the south, national highway 104 in the West and postal circuit in the north. It is about 700 meters long from east to west and 1450 meters wide from north to south, with a total area of about 1 square kilometer.
