Guishan Township
Guishan township is a township under the jurisdiction of Wencheng County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is located at the source of Aojiang River and the southernmost side of Wencheng County, with a total area of 26.5 square kilometers (2017). It is a remote area at the junction of Wencheng, Pingyang, Cangnan and Taishun counties, extending in the shape of a shoulder pole. It is 63 kilometers away from the county seat, with an average altitude of more than 800 meters. The climate is pleasant and the annual precipitation is rich. It is a summer resort. The territory is rich in bamboo resources and forage resources, Wencheng County is the focus of bamboo town and herbivore demonstration township.

In 2002, nine village committees with 5995 members were under the jurisdiction of Shuangfeng, Shuiwei, Fenshui, Pingxi, Fengshi, Fuquan, Wudi, guiku and gufulong. In 2003, the original 9 administrative villages in Guishan Township were adjusted to 7 administrative villages. Sanlong village is composed of the original Shuangfeng Village and Shuiwei village; Xinxing village is composed of the original gufulong village and Wudi village; Fenshui village, Fuquan village, Fengshi village, guiku village and Pingxi village remain unchanged. The population is 6153. In 2006, it had jurisdiction over seven administrative villages: Sanlong, Xinxing, Fenshui, Fuquan, Fengshi, guiku and Pingxi. The population is 6200 (2005). 2563 (2017).

agricultural economy
The township gives full play to the advantages of annual precipitation, rich resources of Phyllostachys pubescens and herbage, and focuses on the development of low yield forest transformation of Phyllostachys pubescens, breeding of meat rabbits and goats, and planting of traditional Chinese medicine. After years of efforts, low yield bamboo forest transformation, rabbit and goat breeding, traditional Chinese medicine (Pseudostellaria heterophylla) planting has begun to take shape. In 2005, the township developed pepper planting more than 300 mu, which effectively promoted the development of local economy. In 2003, green pepper was introduced into Guishan Township, and achieved good results. With the strong support of the township government, the area has expanded year by year, reaching more than 1300 mu in 2007. The township government took green pepper as a key planting project. It not only introduced preferential policies, but also won the greenhouse steel frame worth 330000 from the higher authorities in 2007, which was distributed to large growers free of charge.
