Jiahuo township is located in the central hilly area of Wuxiang County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, 25 kilometers away from the county seat. The township borders Yushe County of Jinzhong City in the north, Dayou Township in the East, Guxian County in the West and Jianzhang County in the south. Its geographical location is 36 ° 47 ′ - 36 ° 56 ′, and 112 ° 56 ′ - 113 ° 07 ′ east longitude. Jiahuo Township belongs to loess hilly area, the terrain is long strip. The whole township is about 900 meters above sea level. Large mountains, wide slopes and deep ditches are the main characteristics of the township. There is a river named Jiahuo River in Jiahuo Township, with a total length of 22 kilometers. Due to climate change, the water volume of the river has become smaller. In the dry period of summer, it is mostly dry.
