Wuniu Street

Wuniu street is under the jurisdiction of Yongjia County, Zhejiang Province. Located in the southeast of Yongjia County, west of Yongle river. It is the east gate of Yongjia County, bordering Yueqing City in the East and Wenzhou City across Oujiang River in the south. It is adjacent to Sanjiang street in the West and Dongcheng Street in the north. The national highway 104 passes through the town, the Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou Expressway and the adjacent area of Wenzhou Bridge, and the Wenzhou Ring Expressway passes through the area, so the traffic is convenient. It covers an area of 77 square kilometers and has a population of 40300 (at the end of 2008).

Historical evolution

According to Yongjia County gazetteer, Wuniu was formerly known as Xiangpu. There is a huge stone by the river in the territory, which is black in color.
