Shanfu town

Shanfu town is located in Lucheng District of Wenzhou City in the southeast of Zhejiang Province. The town government is located in Houzhi village and has 32 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. It is located on the South Bank of Oujiang River, covering an area of 60.5 square kilometers (2017). It borders Tengqiao town in the East, Yongjia County in the north, Qingtian County in Lishui City in the west, and Jinwen railway and national highway 330 run through the whole town. It has rich regional advantages in commodity trade and agricultural development.

In the early stage of reform and opening up, Shanfu Township belongs to Yonglin District Office (county jurisdiction) of Yongjia County, which is the result of the combination of Hengshan township (Linjiang) and Linfu township (Shuangchao and Linfu Baisha area in the west of Qiaotou). Later, due to historical changes, Shanfu changed its name to commune, belonged to Ouhai, established Linjiang Town, and then withdrew the town to Tengqiao. After the preparation of the town construction, the whole town had many discussions about the name of the town, and finally decided the name of "Shanfu town", which has a long history. This also gave the older generation more intimacy.

The frost free period is about 280 days, and the annual precipitation is 1100-2200mm. The mild and humid climate is very suitable for crop growth. Shanfu town is located in the southeast coast, with plain, mountain, hill, island, etc. Typhoon, rainstorm, drought, high temperature, lightning, landslides and other natural disasters occur from time to time.
