Pingan town

Pingan Town, belonging to Zunhua City, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Zunhua City, bordering Dongxinzhuang town and liubeizhai Township in the East, Yutian County in the south, longhuyu and chutouling in Jixian County in the west, Shimen town in the north, with an administrative area of 95.7 square kilometers.

In 1953, it was divided into five townships: Ping'an City, magezhuang, housuotun, Zhongtan and xiajiayu; in March 1984, the people's commune was abolished and Ping'an urban and rural areas were restored; in the same year, Ping'an urban and rural areas were transformed into towns; in 1992, magezhuang township was merged. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Ping An town was 54237. As of June 2020, Pingan town has jurisdiction over one community and 39 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in four villages of Pingan city.

History of construction

In 1953, it was divided into five townships: Pingan City, magezhuang, housuotun, Zhongtan and xiajiayu.

In 1956, the five townships were merged into Ping'an urban and rural areas.

In October 1958, it belonged to the five-star people's commune.

In 1961, Pingan City People's commune was established.

In March 1984, the people's commune was abolished and Ping'an urban and rural areas were restored; in the same year, Ping'an urban and rural areas were changed into towns.

In 1992, magezhuang township was incorporated.
