Qingping Street

Qingping street, located in the east of Kaifeng City, Henan Province, is bounded by Jiaojing Hutong in the north, shunshuncheng South Street in the East, shushudian Street (excluding the facade) in the west, and Chaomi street in the south. It covers an area of 2.7 square kilometers and governs four communities, namely xueyuanmen, biannan, Wenshu temple and Dongda temple.

Historical evolution

Qingping town was established in 1949 and Qingping street was established in 1953. During the cultural revolution, it was renamed Qunying office, and Qingping street was restored in 1977. In 1997, it covers an area of 1.7 square kilometers and has a population of 21000. It has jurisdiction over nine neighborhood committees, namely dahuangjia Hutong, hongheyan street, wenshusi street, hehe street, jingrenting street, Weizhong qianhou street, nanyangshi street, Qingping Nanbei street and biannan street.

There are district Party committee, district government and other organs. Scenic spots are located in the north and South streets of Qingping Dongda Temple mosque.
