Xiaowangmiao Street

Xiaowang temple is located in the northwest suburb of Fenghua District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, adjacent to Xikou, a national scenic spot. The street is 11 kilometers away from Fenghua City. The main river of Fenghua, Shanjiang River, runs through the whole area, and Yongjin Expressway passes through the area. With a total area of 76.6 square kilometers, the office is located at 6 Changshou Road, xiaowangmiao. It has jurisdiction over 21 administrative villages, including Lingfeng, Qingyun, Wuxing, Houzhu, Xiaoqiaotou, Yunji, Linjia, Yunxi, with a population of 27172 people (in 2010), 24000 mu of arable land and 79000 mu of mountain forest, with a forest coverage rate of 68.8%. It is the hometown of taro in China and the main producing area of peach in Fenghua. Tengtou village under the street is famous at home and abroad.

In January 2020, xiaowangmiao street was selected into the list of beautiful town construction models in Zhejiang Province in 2020.

Fenghua District governs streets. Located in the northwest of the city. It is adjacent to Jinping street and Jiangkou street in the East, Dayan town in the southeast, Xikou town in the West and southwest, and Yinzhou District in the north. It flows from south to North into Shanjiang River, and has many reservoirs. The specialty is Fenghua taro. Jiangba, Xiaofeng, Xiaoyun and other highways pass through, and waterways open to Ningbo. Tengtou village was named "the world's top 500 ecological honor village" by the United Nations in 1993. Xiao Wang Temple was built in the Qing Li period of Song Dynasty, worshiping Xiao Shixian, the magistrate of Fenghua County in 1018. Today, the temple is designated as a city (county) cultural relic protection unit.

Named after the residence. Before the end of the Qing Dynasty, they were all called quankou. Later, the town was changed to xiaowangmiao town because of the heyday of sacrifice in xiaowangmiao temple. From the third year of Jingde in Song Dynasty (1006) to 1949, it was the two townships of qinxiao, Changshou and Lianshan. In 1950, it was xiaowangmiao Town, Huanquan Township, TangYun Township and Yunji township. In 1958, the red flag commune was merged and established. In 1959, it was renamed Xiaozhen commune, with jurisdiction over Xiaozhen, TangYun and Yunji. In 1961, it was changed into three communes of Xiaozhen, TangYun and Yunji, with 44 production teams and 354 production teams. Xiaozhen Township and TangYun Township in 1983. In 1984, Xiaozhen township was abolished and xiaowangmiao town was established. In May 1992, TangYun township was merged into xiaowangmiao town. In 1996, it covers an area of 77 square kilometers. There are both plain and mountain forests here. Agricultural resources are extremely rich. Traditional rice planting has been replaced by characteristic agriculture. Four characteristic agricultural industrial bases in Ningbo have been built, including taro, flowers, peach and bamboo shoots. Among them, the peach planting area is 6438 mu, the flower planting area is 16846 mu, the taro planting area is 2500 mu, and the bamboo forest area is more than 50000 mu. One agricultural leading enterprise of Ningbo Tengtou Landscaping Co., Ltd. with an annual sales revenue of more than 100 million yuan has been cultivated, and two leisure and sightseeing agritainment bases of Tengtou village and the first peach garden in linjiatianxia have been built.

Fenghua exit of Jinyong expressway is located in my street, and three high connecting lines and ecological highway connecting Xikou of Fenghua are running through the whole street, which realize the connection of every village. There are telecommunications and mobile communication networks covering the whole street, and various service institutions and facilities such as education, health, finance, insurance, public security, etc. the street has been listed as a pilot town of electrification transformation in Ningbo City. In the future, it is planned to invest 60 million yuan to optimize and transform the power facilities in the street. With abundant water resources and excellent water quality, it is the main supply outlet of tap water in Ningbo City. in January 2020, xiaowangmiao street was selected into the list of beautiful town construction models in Zhejiang Province in 2020.

History and culture

Quankou, as an important material distribution center in the west of Fenghua, has been listed as one of the four major markets as early as the Song Dynasty. The Xiaowang temple was built in the second year of the Song Dynasty to commemorate Xiao Shixian, the county magistrate of Fenghua in the reign of emperor Tianxi of the Northern Song Dynasty. The temple is famous in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Southeast Asia for its magnificent architecture. Now it is a key cultural relic protection unit in the city, and is commonly known as Xiaowang temple. The farmers of Linjia village in Zhejiang Province have held five sessions of peach blossom pen meetings with books as the bridge and flowers as the media. The excavation of this novel peasant culture has caused many repercussions in eastern Zhejiang. People who appreciate flowers and ink come in droves, and the peach garden of Linjia farmers has become a hot spot for leisure.

Main economic indicators: in 2006, the GDP of the whole street reached 700 million yuan, the total financial revenue was 88 million yuan, and the per capita income of farmers was 5666 yuan, an increase of 15%, 8% and 7% respectively over the previous year. Now there are two industrial blocks, Tengtou and Dabu, in which there are 45 large-scale enterprises, among which the clothing of Aimei and Changlong are the leading industries. The proportion of the whole society in the economic income of the three products is 6%, 65% and 29% respectively.
