Jingtai road street, located in the east gate of Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, was established in January 2006.

Evolution of organizational system

In January 2006, the administrative divisions of some towns and streets in Hailing District were adjusted. Taidong town was abolished and Jingtai road sub district office was set up in its original jurisdiction. After the adjustment of administrative divisions, Jingtai road sub district office has an administrative area of 27.86 square kilometers and a population of 32300. It manages one community neighborhood committee and 10 village committees. in March 2011, Hailing District adjusted the administrative divisions of some streets and put the old Donghe and gonghan communities of Jingtai road street under the management of Chengdong street.

Jingtai road street is located in the east gate of the main urban area of Taizhou city. The former national highway 328 (Haijiang Avenue), Xingtai highway (213 provincial highway), Jingtai road and Ningqi railway pass through the territory. Taizhou railway station is located in the territory.
