Dongling Township

Dongling township is located in the southeast of Danfeng County, 45 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to liangjiawan town of Shangnan County in the East, Zhulinguan town in the West and Huahua Township in the north. The township governs 4 villages, 20 villager groups, 1036 households, 4354 people, with a total area of 64 square kilometers and 5810 mu of arable land. All villages in the township have access to roads, telephones, electricity, tap water and television.

Dongling township is characterized by large mountains and deep gullies, vast land and sparse population, mild climate and abundant rainfall. It is suitable for forestry and animal husbandry. The three major industries of livestock, medicine and fruit have been developing at a high speed. The infrastructure construction of Dongling township has been continuously strengthened. With the completion of Zhulinguan Danjiang bridge, tiehuadong highway is expected to become an oil road in recent years. The township, village and group highways are constantly upgraded, and the whole township highway network has been formed.
