Huangcheng Town, belonging to Baoying County, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, is located 8 kilometers northeast of Baoying County. It is integrated with the Development Zone in the south, Jinghe town in the West and Caodian town in the northeast. The Beijing Shanghai Expressway passes through the area, only 6 kilometers away from the exit of Baoying. Baocao highway runs through the north and south of the town. Baocao River and Nanxi River cross each other in the "ten" section. The water and land transportation is very convenient . The town covers an area of 42 square kilometers (2017), with a total cultivated area of 27219 Mu and a breeding area of 3195 mu. Huangcheng town belongs to Baoying County, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is located in the east coast of China and the middle of Jiangsu Province. It is adjacent to Huai'an City, Premier Zhou Enlai's hometown, in the north, and runs through Beijing Hangzhou canal and Beijing Shanghai expressway. It is a famous "land of fish and rice" and "land of lotus root in China". It is the first batch of national ecological demonstration area and a national advanced greening county. Huangcheng town is close to the county seat of Baoying and is connected with the county economic development zone. It is only 4 km away from the entrance (exit) of Baoying on Beijing Shanghai expressway. There is a "two vertical and one horizontal" highway network with Beijing Shanghai Expressway as the trunk, Su 216 provincial highway and Yan Jin national defense highway as the skeleton. It is surrounded by airports in Shanghai, Nanjing, Changzhou, Yancheng, Xuzhou and Lianyungang. The Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal is a second-class river course, which is navigable to 2000 ton push barges.

The balance of residents' bank deposits was 129 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 5894 yuan.
