on December 12, 2017, the CPC Xiling District yaowan sub District Working Committee and Xiling District yaowan sub district office were unveiled, marking the formal establishment of yaowan sub district office. More than 8600 villagers will be transformed into urban residents. While continuing to enjoy the policy of benefiting farmers, they can also enjoy the dividends brought by the equalization of public services such as education, culture and health. from 2016, Xiling District began to plan the integration of district and township, and made clear arrangements for the work in the 13th five year plan, the Eighth Party Congress and the first session of the Eighth National People's Congress. At the beginning of 2017, the district Party committee set up a special class to conduct extensive discussions on the integration of district and township through field research and special office work, and formulated the implementation plan for the development of district and township integration. in November 2017, the Provincial Department of civil affairs and the municipal government gave official replies on the agreement to cancel yaowan Township and establish yaowan sub district office respectively. The Xiling District government has defined the main responsibilities of yaowan street from the aspects of economic development, industrial adjustment, social security, etc., determined four internal organizations including the party and government comprehensive office, and verified 27 administrative staff.
