TAIPINGZHAI Town, belonging to Qianxi County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the east of Qianxi County, adjacent to Qian'an city and Kuancheng Manchu Autonomous County in the East, luojiatun town in the South and Jinchangyu town in the West and North, with an administrative area of 123.1 square kilometers.

Before the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), it belonged to Qian'an County; in June 1988, TAIPINGZHAI township was transformed into a town; in January 1996, the township division was adjusted, and nanliuguzhuang Township and longxinzhuang Township were merged. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Taiping town was 36678. As of June 2020, TAIPINGZHAI town has jurisdiction over 29 administrative villages, and the people's Government of TAIPINGZHAI town is located at No. 1, Guyan Road, village 4.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of TAIPINGZHAI town was 110 million yuan, an increase of 33% over the previous year; the per capita financial revenue was 3000 yuan, an increase of 30% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 8526 yuan. In 2018, TAIPINGZHAI town had 57 industrial enterprises and 58 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

Before the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), it belonged to Qian'an county.

In 1947, Qianxi county was the Second District of Qianxi County.

In 1953, TAIPINGZHAI township was established.

In 1956, TAIPINGZHAI township was replaced by TAIPINGZHAI township.

In October 1958, it belonged to Taiping Village brigade of Dongfanghong (Taiping Village) people's commune; in December of the same year, it was incorporated into Qian'an county and renamed Taiping Village management area.

In June 1961, after Qianxi county was restored, it returned to Qianxi County and built TAIPINGZHAI people's commune.

In March 1984, it was changed into TAIPINGZHAI township.

In June 1988, TAIPINGZHAI township was transformed into a town.

In January 1996, the township division was adjusted and nanliuguzhuang Township and longxinzhuang Township were merged.
