Dazhong farm

Jiangsu Dazhong farm is located in Dafeng District, the first ecological demonstration city in China. Adjacent to elk and Red Crowned Crane two national nature reserves. It is 40 kilometers away from Yancheng airport, Ningyan expressway, Xinchang railway, Dafeng port and Coastal Expressway, with convenient transportation.

Geography

Dazhong farm is located at 120 degrees 39:08 East and 33 degrees 08:04 north, bordering on Huafeng farm of Dafeng District in the East, Zhugang township of Dafeng District in the southwest and Tongshang town of Dafeng district across the river in the north. The total area is 81.2 square kilometers (122330.2 mu), including 5080 hectares of arable land (76193.4 mu).

climatic conditions

The annual daily sunshine is 2078 hours, the annual average temperature is 14.6 degrees, the frost free period is 215 days (10 / 22-11 / 20-3 / 4-4 / 26), the annual precipitation is 1040 mm, 60% from July to September, the evaporation is 1418 mm, the east wind is more, and the wind direction frequency accounts for 51%. The disastrous weather includes typhoon and rainstorm from July to September, the maximum daily precipitation is 362.9 mm, the cold damage from February to April, and the extreme low temperature is - 10.4 degrees.

Soil condition

The depth of shallow groundwater is 1.6m in dry season and 1.0m in rainy season, the salinity is 2.12g/l, the bulk density is 1.25g/cm3, the total porosity is 53.6%, and the non capillary porosity is 16.5%. The salt content of 0-20cm soil layer is 0.08%, and the desalination rate is 93.6%. Soil organic matter is 1.4-1.5%, total nitrogen is 0.0964%, available nitrogen is 70ppm, available phosphorus is about 16ppm.

Natural ecology

Located in Dafeng District, the first national ecological demonstration area in China, the farm is the raw material and processing place of the famous green food "Biliu" brand rice. It is adjacent to the national Milu nature reserve and has unique natural ecological conditions.

Transportation situation

Dazhong farm is adjacent to the Yellow Sea in the East, less than 5km away from Dafeng port, the key port invested by the Ministry of communications of the people's Republic of China, and more than 20km away from national highway 204, provincial waterway Tongyu River and Xinchang railway in the West.

Main planting structure

”Before the eighth five year plan, wheat, corn, cotton, mint, spearmint and soybean were planted, and now wheat rice wheel is the main crop. The multiple cropping index was above 1.9.

Technical personnel

The farm has undertaken more than 20 scientific research projects at the provincial and ministerial level. There are 81 agricultural technicians and 93 engineering technicians in the farm, including 1 senior and 51 intermediate. The Institute of Agricultural Sciences is equipped with meteorological satellite real-time ground receiving system, spectral analyzer and other high-end scientific research instruments.

Industrial status

At present, there are more than ten industrial units, such as wear-resistant casting factory, temperature control factory, processing factory, clothing factory, plastic factory, etc. the paint baking room, wear-resistant casting, plastic products and other products sold well in more than 20 provinces, cities and regions in China. The industrial units are in a period of vigorous development.
