Jiangbin Hospital of Rugao City

Jiangbin Hospital of Rugao city is a public hospital located in the south of Huandao West Road, changqingsha, Changjiang Town, Rugao City, Jiangsu Province. Founded in September 1983, it is a subordinate unit of Rugao Civil Affairs Bureau. The main function of the hospital is to undertake the city's "three noes", "preferential care", "minimum living security", vagrancy and begging, the reception and treatment of mental patients causing trouble; to provide treatment, rehabilitation and life services for the elderly who are cured of leprosy. It is a special hospital with civil administration characteristics set up by the government.

Jiangbin hospital, founded in September 1983, is the only civil psychiatric hospital in Rugao City. It is built on the basis of the original leprosy village in Rugao county. The new site is located in changqingsha Island Nature Reserve in Changjiang town (Rugao port area). It covers an area of 66 mu, with a construction area of 31000 square meters and 480 beds. The total investment is estimated to be about 50 million yuan. The relocation project benefits the social vulnerable groups. It is a practical project for the private sector by the government. It started on September 19, 2008 and was completed on January 29, 2010.
